Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

Thank you for visiting Simple Prepare.

These Terms of Service explain the conditions that apply when you visit simpleprepare.com, use our website or purchase a product from us.

Throughout these Terms, "Simple Prepare", "we", "us" and "our" refer to Simple Prepare. "You" and "your" refer to the visitor, customer or other user of our website.

By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service and to the policies referenced in them.

Please read these Terms carefully before using our website or completing a purchase. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights available to you under applicable consumer protection legislation.

1. About Simple Prepare

Simple Prepare operates this website and online store.

Our contact details are:

Simple Prepare
Eemdijk 177
3754 NG Eemdijk
The Netherlands

Email: info@simpleprepare.com

Website: www.simpleprepare.com

Our online store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the e-commerce platform used to offer and sell our products.

2. Using Our Website

You may use our website only for lawful purposes.

You must not:

  • Use the website in any way that violates applicable law.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website, systems or customer information.
  • Introduce viruses, malicious software or other harmful technology.
  • Interfere with the security or proper operation of the website.
  • Collect information about other users without a lawful basis.
  • Use automated systems to scrape, copy or reproduce substantial parts of the website without our prior written permission.
  • Submit false, misleading, abusive or unlawful content.
  • Infringe the intellectual property, privacy or other rights of Simple Prepare or any third party.

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect our website, customers, business operations or legal obligations.

3. Product Information

We aim to describe and present our products as accurately and clearly as reasonably possible.

Product descriptions, specifications, photographs and other information are provided to help you make an informed purchasing decision.

Colours and visual details may vary slightly due to lighting, photography, screen settings, manufacturing tolerances or product batches. Minor differences of this nature do not affect your statutory rights where a product materially differs from what was agreed or advertised.

The product description, selected variant and confirmed order information applicable at the time of purchase form part of the agreement between you and Simple Prepare.

We will never substitute a materially different product without your agreement.

4. The LifeSaver and Emergency Products

The LifeSaver and our other emergency preparedness products are intended to support practical preparedness and immediate action during an emergency.

These products do not replace:

  • Professional emergency services
  • Medical diagnosis or treatment
  • Appropriate first-aid or emergency-response training
  • Instructions provided by the authorised manufacturer
  • Professional judgement from a qualified healthcare provider

In an emergency, always contact the appropriate emergency services immediately.

You are responsible for using each product in accordance with its instructions, intended purpose and your own level of training or competence.

Some components may be sterile, intended for single use or subject to an expiry date. Inspect your kit regularly and replace any component that has been used, opened, damaged, contaminated or has expired.

Owning or using an emergency kit does not guarantee that injury, deterioration or other adverse outcomes can be prevented. Every emergency is different and may require immediate professional assistance.

Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

5. Prices and Taxes

All product prices are displayed in euros (€).

Applicable taxes are included or displayed in accordance with the information shown during checkout. Shipping costs and any other applicable charges are clearly displayed before you complete your payment.

Prices may be changed for future orders at any time. Any price change will not affect an order that has already been confirmed.

If an obvious pricing or product information error occurs, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible. You may then choose either to confirm your order using the correct information or cancel the affected order for a full refund.

6. Placing an Order

Before completing checkout, you have the opportunity to review and correct your order.

By placing an order, you confirm that:

  • The information you provide is complete and accurate.
  • You are legally capable of entering into a purchase agreement.
  • You are authorised to use the selected payment method.
  • The delivery address is correct and accessible.
  • You have reviewed the selected product, variant, price and shipping information.

After placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation by email.

We may refuse or cancel an order only where there is a legitimate reason, including:

  • The product is unavailable.
  • Payment cannot be authorised or completed.
  • The delivery address is outside our supported shipping area.
  • We reasonably suspect fraud, misuse or another unlawful transaction.
  • The order contains an obvious pricing or product information error.
  • We are legally prevented from processing or delivering the order.
  • The quantity ordered is clearly inconsistent with normal personal use and requires prior agreement.

If we cancel an order after payment has been received, we will refund the applicable amount using the original payment method without undue delay.

7. Payment

The payment methods available for your order are displayed during checkout.

Payment must be completed using one of the payment methods offered through our online store. Payment processing may be carried out by Shopify or by an authorised external payment provider.

For security reasons, we do not receive or store complete payment card details when these are processed directly by an authorised payment provider.

Your payment provider may apply its own terms, security checks and processing times.

8. Shipping and Delivery

We currently deliver to selected countries within the European Union.

Available destinations, shipping methods and shipping costs are displayed during checkout.

Order processing, estimated delivery times, Track & Trace information, delayed shipments, failed deliveries and damaged parcels are governed by our Shipping Policy.

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless we have expressly agreed otherwise.

The risk of loss or damage remains with Simple Prepare until you, or a third party appointed by you other than the carrier, has physically received the order. This does not apply where you independently appoint a carrier that was not offered by Simple Prepare.

If your order is delayed, damaged, incomplete, incorrect or appears to be lost, please contact us as soon as possible.

9. Cancellations Before Dispatch

If you need to change or cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible at info@simpleprepare.com.

We will make reasonable efforts to assist you. However, we cannot guarantee that an order can still be changed or cancelled once processing or dispatch has begun.

If your order has already been dispatched, it may need to be returned in accordance with our Returns and Refund Policy.

10. Right of Withdrawal and Returns

Consumers may have a statutory right to withdraw from an online purchase without giving a reason.

Your rights regarding withdrawals, return periods, return conditions, shipping costs, sealed medical products and refunds are set out in our Returns and Refund Policy.

The statutory right of withdrawal is separate from your rights where a product is defective, damaged, incorrect or does not conform to the purchase agreement.

Nothing in our Returns and Refund Policy limits any mandatory consumer rights available under applicable law.

11. Defective or Non-Conforming Products

All products must correspond with the purchase agreement and the information provided at the time of purchase.

Please contact us at info@simpleprepare.com if a product:

  • Is defective.
  • Arrives damaged.
  • Is incomplete.
  • Is not the product or variant you ordered.
  • Does not correspond with the agreed description.
  • Does not function as reasonably expected based on its intended purpose and product information.

Please include:

  • Your name.
  • Your order number.
  • A clear description of the issue.
  • Photographs where relevant.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, an appropriate solution may include:

  • Repair.
  • Replacement.
  • A price reduction.
  • A refund.

Any commercial guarantee we may offer is provided in addition to your statutory rights and never replaces or limits them.

12. Availability of the Website

We aim to keep our website secure, reliable and available. However, uninterrupted or error-free access cannot be guaranteed.

We may temporarily restrict access where reasonably necessary for:

  • Planned maintenance.
  • Security updates.
  • Technical repairs.
  • Platform improvements.
  • Legal or regulatory requirements.
  • Events outside our reasonable control.

We will take reasonable steps to minimise any disruption.

Please note that product availability displayed on the website may occasionally change before an order has been completed or processed.

13. Third-Party Services and Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or make use of third-party services, including payment providers, delivery companies, analytics providers and other service partners.

We are not responsible for the independent content, availability, security or privacy practices of third-party websites that we do not own or control.

The inclusion of a third-party link does not automatically constitute an endorsement of that website or service.

Your use of any third-party website may be governed by that party's own terms and privacy policy.

Nothing in this section affects our responsibility where applicable law holds us responsible for third parties used to perform our obligations under your purchase agreement.

14. Intellectual Property

Unless stated otherwise, all content on this website is owned by or licensed to Simple Prepare.

This includes:

  • The Simple Prepare name and branding.
  • The LifeSaver name and product presentation.
  • Product descriptions and written content.
  • Photographs and graphics.
  • Videos.
  • Logos.
  • Downloads.
  • Website design and layout.

You may use this website for your own personal and non-commercial purposes.

You may not reproduce, publish, distribute, sell, licence, modify or commercially exploit any part of our content without our prior written permission, except where permitted by applicable law.

All third-party trademarks, product names and other protected materials remain the property of their respective owners.

15. User Content and Communications

If you send us a review, photograph, testimonial, suggestion or other content, you confirm that:

  • You are authorised to provide it.
  • It is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
  • It does not infringe the rights of any third party.
  • It is not unlawful, misleading, abusive or harmful.

We will not use identifiable customer content for marketing purposes without an appropriate legal basis or your permission.

Reviews and feedback may be moderated where reasonably necessary to prevent unlawful, fraudulent, abusive or irrelevant content.

We will never remove genuine customer reviews solely because they are critical.

16. Privacy and Personal Information

Our collection and processing of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.

Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information about:

  • The personal information we collect.
  • How your information is used.
  • How your information may be shared.
  • The rights available to you regarding your personal data.

17. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

In particular, these Terms do not exclude or limit:

  • Your mandatory consumer rights.
  • Liability for fraud or intentional misconduct.
  • Liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such liability cannot legally be excluded.
  • Mandatory product liability.
  • Your rights relating to defective or non-conforming products.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Simple Prepare is not responsible for losses that:

  • Were not reasonably foreseeable when the purchase agreement was formed.
  • Result from using a product outside its intended purpose.
  • Result from ignoring product instructions, warnings or safety information.
  • Result from the continued use of damaged, contaminated, opened or expired components.
  • Result from failing to contact the appropriate emergency services when reasonably necessary.
  • Relate to business losses arising from purchases made primarily for commercial purposes, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Nothing in this section affects our responsibility to properly fulfil our obligations under the purchase agreement.

18. Events Beyond Our Reasonable Control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Examples include:

  • Severe weather.
  • Natural disasters.
  • War or civil unrest.
  • Government measures.
  • Transport or carrier disruptions.
  • Industrial action.
  • Large-scale telecommunications or payment system failures.
  • Major supply chain interruptions.

Where such an event affects your order, we will take reasonable steps to minimise its impact and keep you informed.

Nothing in this section removes any statutory right you may have to cancel an order or receive a refund where applicable law provides for such rights.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes to our website, products, business operations or legal obligations.

The version that applies to your purchase is the version published on our website at the time you place your order.

Any later changes will not retrospectively alter an existing purchase agreement unless required by law or expressly agreed with you.

The latest version will always be available on our website together with the date of its most recent update.

20. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary.

All remaining provisions will continue to remain in full force and effect.

21. No Waiver

A delay or failure by either party to exercise a right or enforce a provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right.

Any right or remedy may still be exercised at a later time.

22. Governing Law and Consumer Rights

These Terms of Service and any purchase agreement with Simple Prepare are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.

If you are a consumer residing in another country, this choice of law does not remove any mandatory consumer protection rights available to you under the laws of your country of residence.

Nothing in these Terms limits your right to bring a dispute before a competent court where applicable law grants you that right.

23. Complaints

If you have a complaint about a product, an order or our service, we encourage you to contact us first so that we have the opportunity to resolve the matter.

Please email your complaint to:

info@simpleprepare.com

To help us process your complaint efficiently, please include:

  • Your name.
  • Your order number (where applicable).
  • A clear description of the issue.
  • The outcome you are seeking.
  • Relevant photographs or supporting documents, where appropriate.

We will review your complaint carefully and respond within a reasonable period.
